Courses on Becoming an Appraiser

Appraising Real Property can be a rewarding profession for the right individuals. To become an appraiser, you will need to meet the minimum requirements set by the Appraisal Qualifications Board (AQB) 

Under Title XI of the Financial Institution Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act, the Appraiser Qualification Board (AQB) establishes the minimum education, experience and examination requirements for state appraiser licensing. You can go to the Appraisal Foundation website at www.appraisalfoundation.org to get specific qualification requirements on each of the license levels.

Online Education

Now you can take continuing education and pre-licensing education at your pace, when and where it is convenient for you.  BrightPath offers our own online courses as well as collaborating with Hondros Learning and CompuTaught to offer a variety of quality online options.  Check out our Online courses and have the convenience of obtaining your education on your schedule.  Please note that appraisers may take up to 14 hours of 28 required hours for continuing education per renewal cycle and Registered Trainees may take 30 hours of pre-licensing courses online.
